I’m In: The BPS Attendance Symposium

The research is clear – school attendance is linked to academic achievement. Join us September 19, 2017 for the first Boston Public Schools (BPS) Attendance Symposium to learn what you can do to make school attendance a priority.

• Keynote Speaker: This free event will be delivered in a “double header” format, with nationally renowned thought leader, Hedy Chang of Attendance Works, serving as the keynote speaker for both the morning and afternoon sessions.

• Working breakout sessions that appeal to a diverse audience of educators, agency partners, public and private sector leaders, parents and youth, as well as in and out of district stakeholders, such as medical professionals, guidance counselors, social workers and behavioral health professionals.

• A light continental breakfast will be provided with an optional networking luncheon.
