HUB Community Schools Showcase
May 17, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Hub Schools are a model for school improvement based on identifying the needs and assets of a school community and bringing together stakeholders (parents, teachers, students, district, community, and health partners) to determine how best to use their resources to support the whole student and family. On the 63rd anniversary of the Brown v. Board Supreme Court decision, this event is a timely discussion for the continued pursuit of quality public education for all students.
At this showcase, we invite you to:
· HEAR about the successes of this school model nationally and locally.
· LEARN about various models within BPS.
· ASK questions about how Hub Schools work in practice.
· ENVISION the schools we want to see in our communities and take the next steps to bring this vision to fruition.
